I’m sitting in my 19th Century European History class and the sub is talking about the reading revolution – apparently paper was made cheaper during this time because it changed materials. All books and things from before 1840’s were made from textiles, but when new methods were developed in the 19th century to make paper from timber, it was made more accessible to the masses.

New methods. Developed. By Europeans. In the 19th century. To make paper from timber.

Really?
