The Chronicles of Barcelona, Part IX – Wandering

Note: About two weeks late, but still getting this up. Lack of enthusiasm in 3. 2. 1!

As terrible as Barcelona was to me (relatively speaking, I suppose), it was still a beautiful city and I hope I can go back one day.

The days we went were gorgeously sunny and warmer than usual – we ditched our London coats and opted for thin cardigans and jackets.

The streets (like almost every other city we’ve been to so far) were lined with proper markets as well as pavement “shops”, with pieces of cloth under so that the shopkeepers could pick up and disappear at a moment’s notice.

I got scolded for taking this picture, actually.

By this guy.

And of course, the usual disgustingly overpriced craft markets.

But I mean, who can complain when the sky is that blue?
