The Chronicles of Brussels, Part XIII – Fries/Frites?

Like I just mentioned, Brussels was oddly famous for its french fries (heh, belgian fries?) as well as its chocolate and waffles. (Side note: some say that the “French” in “French fries” is only referring to a type of cutting method, instead of the actual country..

“to french“, which means “to cut in thin lengthwise strips before cooking”

Anyways. So I mean, we had to get fries. Who goes somewhere that’s famous for something and doesn’t eat it, right?

That’s hollanaise sauce, and it’s heavenly.

Just a big foodporn spam, no big deal. Moving onwards? :)
