The Chronicles of Brussels, Part XXIV – The Friterie

This is Heng Sheng. His family owns this restaurant, which they named Happy Bhudda in English (how cute!).

His mom is awesome.

And on the day of our departure, he took me and Di out for lunch, despite our very many efforts to thwart his evil pay-for-the-whole-meal plan…Thanks Heng…

And this is what we ate.

So.

Much.

Greasiness.

But you know, as monotonous the color palette is, it was pretty good. We just felt like…well, the sink of a McDonald’s afterwards, but that’s all fine.
